Step into the Light: Your Photography Session, Made Simple and Beautiful.
Booking a professional photography session can feel a little like stepping onstage with no script — Where do I stand? What do I wear? What do I even do with my hands?!
If you're feeling even a whisper of those nerves, I see you. And I'm here to tell you — you’re in exactly the right place.
At Michele Williams Photography, I specialize in creating an experience that’s easy, joyful, and deeply personal, so you feel less like you’re posing for a camera and more like you’re making memories with a friend. Here’s exactly what you can expect when you book your session with me.

Booking Your Session: Easy, Friendly, and Tailored to You
The first step? Super simple. Just head to my contact page and send me a quick message. I’ll get back to you at my earliest convenience.
We’ll chat about what kind of session you’re dreaming up — family portraits, a branding shoot, headshots for your business — and we’ll pick a date and time that’s perfect for you. I'll ask you a few easy questions about your vision so we can start crafting something that's 100% you. Think of it less like "booking a service" and more like "starting a creative adventure."
Before Your Session: Getting You Prepped (Without the Stress)
Once you’re officially booked, I’ll send you a style guide packed with tips on what to wear, what colors look best on camera, and how to coordinate without looking too "matchy-matchy".
We'll also pick the perfect location — whether that’s my cozy home studio, a beautiful field, a downtown alley dripping with character, or your own backyard.
I’ll answer all your pre-session questions, like:
“Should I bring props?” (Maybe!)
“What if I don’t know how to pose?” (Don't worry, that’s where I come in.)
By the time your session rolls around, you’ll feel completely ready — and dare I say — even excited.
The Day of Your Session: Where the Magic Happens
On the day of your shoot, my only goal is to make you feel like your best, most authentic-natural self. Forget stiff poses and awkward smiles. I’ll guide you with easy prompts and playful directions, so you’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands (or your face, or your hair).
We’ll laugh. We’ll maybe dance a little. We’ll definitely capture those candid, unforced moments — the ones that you’ll look back on and think, "That’s so me/us."
One of my favorite stories...
I once had a couple, Brittanee and Nyk, who swore they were "so awkward" in front of the camera. Ten minutes into their session, they were spinning each other around under a beautiful tree, laughing so hard they had to wipe tears away. Those photos? Pure magic! And absolutely their favorites.
That’s the vibe I’m after — your real story, told naturally and joyfully.
After Your Session: Relive the Joy
You won’t be left wondering "Whatever happened to those pictures?" Within a couple of weeks, you'll receive a beautiful online gallery full of edited, high-resolution images.
From there, you can download, share, and even order professional-quality prints or albums if you want to make your memories tangible.
I’ll walk you through how to save your images and even offer suggestions if you want to create keepsakes like albums or framed art for your home.
A Few FAQs (Because I Know You’re Wondering)
“I’m not photogenic — should I even do this?”
YES. You are beautiful and so photogenic — you just need a photographer who knows how to bring that out. (Spoiler alert: Hi, it’s me.)
“Can I bring my kid/partner/bestie?”
Absolutely. If they’re part of your story, they’re part of your session.
“What if it rains?”
If we are shooting in the studio, it won't affect us! If we are shooting outdoors, we’ll embrace the magic of moody weather... or reschedule if you prefer a sunnier vibe. Flexibility is key — and your comfort always comes first.
